Resolved Question: How much do I have to pay for the iPhone 3G, so that I can have all the money prepared for the buy July 11th?

I am currently below contract and yes I am an AT&T customer. I have the Tilt 8925 and it's up for sale on eBay, but i need to know the price exactly that i'd be paying. Resolved Question: Iphone 3G MUST have Data Plan?

I want to receive the upcomming iphone 3g. I have been online searching for plans and it's every the same about $70.00 +Taxes. I spoke with a ATT Sales Rep. He said the Data Plan is a must have for the Iphone or else the iphone is not operational. Apple and Att had agreed to this deal, can someone please give me a link to such agreement, i searched everywhere for it but no luck. Also if the Iphone comes with WiFi why force a Data plan, on the BlackBerry a Data plan is an Option unlike the Iphone. So is the Iphone worth purchasing? taking in consideration the monthly charge of nearly $100?

Voting Question: Can I buy an Iphone then report 'lost' or that i "gave it away to someone" so I can unlock it for a myself?

Ok. I have tmobile service... i dont want to break my contract with them early. i want to purchase an iphone with an account i have in my name through att (that number is being used by my dad). can i report it "lost" or that "i gave it to someone else" and they will be activating it to there account later? I heard att has GPS on every iphones, i dont want to do this then have them turn around and block the phone from any further use, because i plan to receive it unlocked then just use it with MY line and sim i have with tmobile... its just the cheapest way for me to buy an iphone, b/c getting one online unlocked is like over $600!!! its crazy i know... please does anyone know about doing this, or has anyone done this or know someone who has done this with no problems?? thansk for everyone's help!!! another route i know i can take is buying the phone unlocked already through someone but i dont think they have any available right now for sale, i have several friends that bought through this person with no problems since we every have tmobile instead of ATT... I have the 3G iphone G800 Samsung, The sales man from t-mobile said that the settings are every sorted. It is a contract phone. I cannot seem to send emails or picture messages through mms on this thing at every. Is this because of the area I live in wont pick it up ? because I wanted to send pics to the internet and videos, and for start with the videos it just says to me that the file is too big. Voting Question: Does the white iPhone 3G show/get scratches easily (on the back)?

I got my iPhone 3G a little over a week ago and I decided to receive the Invisible Shield for the whole phone. Let's just say it was quite an experience putting the shield on the back, especially the corners.... Anyway, because of a screen problem with my phone, I got it replaced, and decided to buy a new Invisible Shield. So luckily, my local Best Buy had them for sale. However, I found out they only sold them for the front screen. Now I'm annoyed, because I would have to wait in line to return it, and then wait another week to order the entire shield online. So as it stands, I only have the Invisible Shield for the front screen. I would like to keep the back naked, so cases aren't an option. And frankly, I don't want to install the Invisible Shield on the back ever again. So if I just had my iPhone 3G in my pocket, with nothing but lint, will I receive visible scratches on the back? Why must every question I make about the iPhone result in spam?

I am currently on the Alltel network and want to switch over to AT&T to receive the iPhone 3G. I Bought an unlocked iphone on ebay 6mths ago. It worked perfect until the last 3 rows on the main screen (Including Phone, Mail, Safari & Ipod) stopped working. It didn't fall or anything it just stopped working. Can I return it? The sim card has not been activated but the phone is not registered below my name, neither do I have the sales receipt. Can I take it to AT&T to receive it repaired/replaced? I know how to restore it to factory settings so they won't know that it has been unlocked. Or can I return it to an Aplle store? Resolved Question: If our economy is soooo terrible right now, how come Apple has sold over 1 million iPhones in 4 days?

Seems to me if so many Americans are in such dire financial shape, how is it possible that we can snap up so many frivolous items such as iPhones (which are expected to reach sales of almost 10 million by year's end)? Could it be more likely that people just don't like the idea of curbing their hunger for material goods and tighten their belts in the face of higher fuel prices and limited inflation? Do you think people during the Great Depression or the economic recession in the 1970's actually had money for silly stuff like the latest X-Box or iPhone? Just curious... Incidentally, I'm asking for the purpose of making people think. Do we really think that only the wealthy are the ones buying iPhones, X-Boxes, flat screen TV's, and other high-dollar toys? The "needy" are buying up designer clothes, "bling", expensive cars, etc., as much as anyone else. I do agree with the post that mentions easy access to credit, but doesn't that signal that the economy must be pretty good to allow for easy access to money?

Stand in line for 12+ hours for an iPhone or video game system? I went to the At&t store today to receive a new phone (not the iPhone) and the sales clerk told me that they had people lining up outside their store at 6 pm last night. Which got me thinking that, who would be SO desperate for a material item? Have we as a society lost every grasp on reality? It's just a phone!
